The simplest way to define why neem tree is being eco-friendly is to say that it is because of the act of living with intent.
The intent is focused on not creating harm to the environment. It also goes beyond the idea and extends to actual practices that influence how communities, businesses and individuals conduct themselves.
Neem Tree is eco-friendly as it attributes sustainable growth and leads to a healthier living for the planet and its inhabitants. Moreover, Neem tree proves to be boon for the environment with its high medicinal and spiritual value by preventing human health from deterioration.

EcoHoy has started a “Plant a Tree” initiative by joining hands with South Point School, Eco Club and various other such organisations to help drive their tree plantation program. EcoHoy would facilitate such organisations by giving them a platform to connect to concerned individuals from all over India who would want to donate to make this initiative a success.
EcoHoy, with the help of such initiative, aims to slowly yet steadily, increase the forest cover which is otherwise disappearing at an alarming rate and pave a way towards a greener tomorrow.
South Point School (SPS), Eco Club, being the concerned organisation in planting this sapling on your behalf, with your help, would plant a Neem Tree sapling around Barsapara, Guwahati, which is in Assam to help revive the green cover of that region.
About the Organisation:
Established in Guwahati, Assam in the year 1960, South Point School is a co-educational day cum boarding school. The School is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The South Point School Eco Club was created in the year 2015 to share and spread environment related awareness amongst the students and the mass. SPS Eco Club has hosted various environment-based programs like seminars, interschool quizzes and drawing competitions since its inception to spread the awareness of various environmental concerns. Since 2016, SPS Eco Club has started a tree plantation drive and has already planted many trees in and around Barsapara area of Guwahati, Assam where the school is located. Joining hands with Ecohoy, SPS Eco Club looks forward to reaching out to concerned people from all over India and make this noble drive a success.
About The Sapling:
Neem, the Miracle Tree, also popularly known as "Nimba" in India, is a tall evergreen tree with the small bright green leaves. It grows up to 100 feet tall and blossoms in spring with the small white flowers.
Neem has a high medicinal value with its bark believed to being an analgesic and can cure high fever including malaria. Neem leaves cure various skin diseases, including chicken pox. Neem oil, extracted from its seeds is used in medicines, pest control, and various cosmetic products.
Plantation and Notification
• SPS, Eco club, being the concerned organisation, will plant a grown healthy tree of height 3.5 to 5 feet and girth diameter of 3 to 5 inches within 15 days from receiving the order.
• The concerned organisation will take care of the maintenance of this sapling and protect it from theft, cattle, or any such other predators.
• A name tag will be installed with the name and city of residence of the concerned customer with good visual characteristics.
• The concerned organisation will overlook the maintenance of the plant for 24 months from the date of the plantation and will replace any damaged or diseased or defective plant that has not survived, with a plant of same kind and size at our own cost during this period. If a tree is replaced, the maintenance period of 24 months will start from the date of replacement.
• A quarterly notification of growth will be sent to you with the picture of the tree until the end of the maintenance period of 24 months.
