Why Eco friendly?

Eco-conscious Beeswax candles

These Eco-friendly candles produce a 'cleaner burn' compared to conventional paraffin wax - An oil-based, highly refined petroleum by-product that contains up to 11 toxic compounds and chemicals such as benzene and toluene, emit toxic diesel exhaust-like fumes.

As we all know, candles are primarily used to create ambiance and relieve stress. However, chemical laden synthetic candles can significantly contribute to the indoor air pollution in your home.

Why to opt for these environment friendly candles:

1) Created by the bees, 100% natural, all chemical-free.

2) Eco-friendly and safe, non-toxic. Burn very clean with little smoke when trimmed properly as they are not oil-based.

3) Beeswax candles undergoes no chemical processing and are biodegradable.

4) Have a high melting point (in fact the highest among all known waxes) which results in a significantly longer (2-5 times) burn time.

5) The only candle that emits negative ions to purify, cleanse, improve air quality, and invigorate the body. A natural ionizer!

6) Originate from a renewable fuel - beeswax.

These lovely candles do burn more brilliantly, cleaner and longer! So, stop burning petroleum and polluting your home. Turn to beeswax. It will make a difference in your home ambience and the quality of life of those who love candles.

Description

Eco-friendly Candles - Violet  : A floral fragrance which is young and flirty . It pays homage to the beautiful purple flower with bright leaves subtly powdered with iris . We believe in the power of Natural products and use 100 % Pure Beeswax and essential oils for our candles . Beeswax candles are all natural, they do not produce toxic byproducts and heavy soot when burned. Beeswax candles produce negative ions when burned, and those ions help to neutralise pollutants in the air. The wooden wicks have a fast burn pool formation for excellent hot throw. Wooden wicks create soft crackling sound when burning. They provide for a safer, cleaner burning, they are Organic and Eco-friendly . Requires no trimming .

Each candle is handmade in India using responsibly sourced ingredients . Rare and expensive.

Burn time : 40 hrs

Please Note  :Beeswax costs about 10 times more than paraffin. It is estimated that the bees must fly 150,000 miles to collect enough nectar to produce six pounds of honey just to secrete one pound of wax. And for every 100 pounds of honey harvested, the beekeeper can only obtain about 1-2 pounds of the beeswax.

Ecohoy is derived from two Eco and Hoy. Hoy in English is used to attract someone’s attention (Recall the pirate’s Ahoy!) and in Spanish it means “Today”. – We strive to divert people’s attention to the environment and aim to catalyze change, not tomorrow but today and beginning now.
